"The
supposed good-luck magic of the four-leaf clover descended
from pagan reverence for the quatrefoil, one of the
several world symbols. In this design the four realms
of north, east, south and west are implied by joined
circles, with their four elemental spirits, guardians,
peoples, and lands merged at the center." Barbara
G. Walker, “Four-Way Motifs,” page 58, The
Woman's Dictionary of Symbols & Sacred Objects,
HarperSanFrancisco, 1988.

Despite
an enthusiastic response to a research survey and the
cheapest ads rates in the universe, when it came to
buying space in a Pagan directory, the deadline passed
with dismal sales. Payments received have been refunded
in full.
The
Pagan community in Arizona, especially the Phoenix area,
has demonstrated little interest in supporting a new
effort aimed at increasing our awareness of each other
and the value in expanding our network opportunities.
